His short SLIP N' SLIDE screened at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, and his digital series CO-HABITS premiered at Web Series Unplugged in Hollywood. Most recently, his pilot BLACKOUT placed in the Second City Pilot Competition, and he earned top spots pitching his feature POLKA! at the Writers Guild Foundation and PGA Produced by Conference. He is currently developing a low-budget comedy feature to shoot in Chicago.

Dan spent most of his formative years in the Chicago suburbs playing trumpet. He still plays in the Outcast Jazz Band throughout the Chicago area. He and his wife married in 1998, and they both enjoy hanging out with their chow chow Basie.
