Dan writes stories with a sense of humor in many forms, including essays, short films, comedy sketches, web series, TV sitcoms, and feature films. He also enjoys directing and bringing stories to visual life.
Dan studied at Columbia College Chicago film school, The Second City Chicago, iO West, and UCB LA. His short script SLIP N' SLIDE was produced and screened at the LA Pan Asian Film Festival, and his latest web series CO-HABITS premiered at Web Series Unplugged in Hollywood.
Dan grew up in Morton Grove, a suburb of Chicago, where he spent most of his formative years playing trumpet. He still plays in the Outcast Jazz Band when he manages to get back to Chicago for a visit. He married his wife in 1998, and they currently live with their chow chow Basie in Los Angeles.
